Stage Shows and Free Classes!

We’re gearing up for our two shows at the Bosco Theater in Brighton’s Speigeltent on May 9 and 30 at 6pm. No fewer than fourteen Age is a Stage regulars will star in ‘The Insurrection Shuffle’, which director Chris Cresswell describes as ‘a rich and absurd world of mayhem and theatrical magic’. The show will explore some of the perils and pitfalls of modern life as seen through the lens of older stagers. Rehearsals are going well, although with Chris’s well-honed brand of unique chaos and cutting-edge comedy, be sure to expect everything apart from the expected. Tickets are available here.

Meanwhile, funding has been agreed to continue our popular FREE Saturday drop-in classes at the Edge Community Centre, Pankhurst Ave, Brighton at 4.30pm – 6pm. These classes are designed to allow people to enjoy a theatre workshop and gain new skills when the cost of a regular class might otherwise be a barrier. Classes are different every week: you might be planning and starring in a sketch, exploring mime, playing tag with a difference, or taking part in a game of train wreck – every class is different. No experience necessary, and no need to book!
